Inventor(s) include Ms. M. Aruna; Mr. Kolluri Karthik; Katharabaji Karthik; Ms. Kudikala Satwilm; Mr. Kondakindi Keshava Reddy; and Mr. Kadali Susheel.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The increase of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has created high demand for efficient, reliable and sustainable charging infrastructure. This paper presents a smart hybrid energy-based charging station with GSM communication. In this renewable energy such as solar =;tnd wind is used combined with the battery and grid supply for the continuous power supply. The power flow for charging the EVs can be selected based on the availability and demand with GSM communication system. which enables real time monitoring and control. This proposed system enhances renewable energy utilization, reduces grid dependency. Furthermore, the proposed charging station improves system reliability by intelligently managmg multiple energy sources to ensure uninterrupted operation under varymg environ.mental and load conditions. By prioritizing renewable energy generation and optimizing energy storage usage, the system mimmizes energy losses and operational costs. The integration of GSM communication also supports remote fault detection and performance analysis, making the charging infrastructure more scalable and suitable for future smart grid and smart city applications."
