Abstract: The titled invention discloses a smart energy monitoring system for .rural areas comprising a power input unit (1), a DC-DC buck converter (2), a current sensing unit a motion sensing unit (4), a sensor data acquisition module (5), a microcontroller unit (6), a relay control unit (7), an electrical load unit (8), a cloud platform (9), a mobile monitoring interface (10), a data logging unit (11), an energy analysis module (12), and 10 a display and alert unit (13). I he current sensing unit (.3) and motion st:!nsi11y unit (4) continuously monitor electrical consumption and occupancy conditions and transmit the acquired information through the sensor data acquisition module (5) to the microcontroller unit (6). The microcontroller unit (6) processes the received information ' and controls operation of the electrical load unit (8) through the relay control unit (7) . . 15 The cloud platform (9), mobile monitoring interface (10), data logging unit (11), and energy analysis module (12) facilitate remote monitoring, storage, analysis, and visualization of energy consumption information. The display and alert unit (13) provides operational information and notifications, thereby enabling real- time energy monitoring, automated load control, energy analysis, and efficient power management 20 in residential and rural environments.
