MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055534 A) filed by Daniel Elias De Lima Lopes - Mei, Armacao dos Buzios, Brazil, on June 9, for 'smart charger for mobile phones.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present utility model relates to an accessory device for mobile phones, in particular smartphones, and is intended to allow use of a phone over a prolonged period of time, such that when the battery charge of the mobile phone runs out, the user does not require an electrical network to charge their smartphone; they will merely use their own charger to carry out this task, and at least two complete charges of the mobile phone will be ensured, providing greater freedom, flexibility and autonomy."
