MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641044280 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 7, for 'smart care: an adaptive multi modal pressure injury prevention bed.'

The system monitors immobility duration and surface interaction parameters and provides tactile, auditory, and remote notifications to encourage position change. All stimulation and modulation operate within predefined safety limits, enabling preventive support without reliance solely on continuous caregiver superviSIOn."
