According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention titled "Smart Bus Stop with Foot Rocker Power Generator 100" relates to a self-sustaining bus shelter integrating hybrid renewable energy sources for continuous operation. The system comprises a foot mechanism 1 that includes a pedal plate 1a, spring return system 1b, gear assembly 1c, and DC generator 1d. When a commuter steps on the pedal plate, mechanical motion is transmitted through the gear assembly to the generator, converting human kinetic energy into electrical power. Alongside, a solar panel 2 mounted on the roof generates solar energy. Both energy sources are stabilized by a voltage regulator 3 and merged in a power generation unit 4. then stored in a battery or energy storage unit 5. A power management system 6 and controller and IoT module 7 monitor energy flow, while a power distribution unit 8 powers various smart components 9, ensuring grid-independent, eco-friendly, and intelligent operation."
