According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart anti-slip staircase system (1) configured to prevent slip-and-fall accidents. The system (1) comprises a sensor unit (2), a control unit (3), an actuator mechanism, and a deployable high-friction grip element (5). The sensor detects slip-inducing conditions such as moisture or oil, and the control unit activates the actuator to deploy the grip element (5), thereby enhancing traction. The system (1) further includes a user alert mechanism (4) and optionally a communication module for remote monitoring. The invention provides a dynamic and intelligent safety solution for staircases in various environments."
