According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a slitless, frock-style raincoat specifically fabricated for wearers of traditional draped garments such as sarees, lehengas, and long skirts. The raincoat comprises a waterproof outer garment tailored to provide full-length coverage with a continuous lower hem extending circumferentially without side slits to prevent water ingress. An inner foldable tuck-in cloth is integrated along the lower hem and configured to receive and retain pleats, pallu portions, or folds of the underlying garment using fastening elements. The raincoat further includes a vertical front closure for ease of wearing, a hood or alternatively a high collar for head and neck protection, an inner lining for comfort, and an adjustable waist portion to maintain fit and aesthetic drape. The integrated tuck-in fastening mechanism prevents lifting, displacement, or wetting of the draped fabric during rain or wind, thereby ensuring complete protection, comfort, and mobility for the wearer."
