MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132586 A) filed by Pranveer Singh Institute Of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 27, 2025, for 'sleep-enhancing smart pillow with sensors.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a smart pillow, that includes vibration and sound sensors to assist with reducing snoring and improving sleep posture. The invention utilizes sound sensors to monitor snoring patterns, pressure sensors to detect improper posture, and a microcontroller to activate gentle vibrations to correct those issues. Wireless technology allows the user to analyze sleep patterns in a mobile application that shares sleep data with the user. With the integrated nature of the invention, efficiency and cost of the invention increases as it contains snore reduction, posture monitoring, and data-tracking sleep management into a single pillow that is functional and comfortable. The pillow also intends to improve personal health by reducing risks that come from poor sleep and therefore boots long-term wellness through non-invasive technology."
