According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A skirting removing assistive device, comprising, an elongated telescopically operated frame 1 having a first and second end, wherein the first end is attached with a handle 2 gripped by a user and the second end is configured with a wedge-shaped plate 3 to be inserted between a fixed surface and a wooden skirting to be removed from the surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 mounted on the frame 1 for detecting edge of the skirting, wherein the microcontroller activates a laser projection unit 5 mounted on the frame 1 for projecting a laser beam to guide the user in aligning the plate 3 over the edge, an angle sensor positioned on the plate 3 for detecting angle of the plate 3 with respect to the edge, and a motorized ball and socket joint 6 for aligning the plate 3 with the edge."
