According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An embodiment consisting two metal combs with sharp edges, a removable hair measuring scale fixed at the handle. The device contains two rings which serves the purpose of engaging using two fingers, Of which moving 2 rings, connected in a way to operate the sharp edges of the comb cuts the hair into specific length of the attached scale fixed at the handle. A second person is not needed to operate the device. The hair trimmers now available in markets are only capable of cutting hair into shorter lengths. If requires a long hair, using conventional scissor is the only way but doesn't have the freedom to use it without the help of a professional hair dresser. Background of the invention. With help of present day tools, getting a long hair cut without the help of a professional hair dresser is not possible. An individual can only rely on trimmers to get short hair style And using a scissor is not at all possible without someone else's help since it causes irregularities in cutting sizes. The invented device consists of metal combs which act as scissors cutting long hair and measuring scales which can be attached and removed to get an equal sized hair cut. The technique of a person grabbing the hair with fingers and cutting the top with a scissor is implemented with the invented device. With the device an individual gets the freedom to cut own hair into long equal size without depending a barber. The device can be operated with both hand easily."
