MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072859 A) filed by Capital One Services, Llc, McLean, U.S.A., on July 31, for 'signature merger during upload process.'
Inventor(s) include Franklin, Keegan; Brighter, James; Maillett, John; Gonzalez, Karin; and Schott, Suranya Jayan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems for performing signature-based techniques on document during a document upload process are disclosed. During the document upload process, a document upload application may determine whether signature is required on the document to be uploaded and whether the required signature is present on the document. Upon determining that a signature is required but is missing from the document, document upload application may retrieve and merge the required signature with the document as part of the document upload process."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 03, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/010192.
