According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a sign and gesture-based IoT home control system. The system includes a camera module configured to capture images of user hand gestures, a processing unit configured to recognize hand gestures from the captured images, a communication module configured to transmit control commands based on the recognized gestures, and a plurality of IoT devices configured to receive and execute the control commands. The processing unit includes a convolutional neural network configured to process the captured images to extract hierarchical features for gesture classification. The system includes image preprocessing capabilities configured to apply Gaussian blur and adaptive thresholding to enhance gesture recognition accuracy. The communication module transmits control commands using MQTT protocol. The system includes a web-based dashboard configured to provide real-time feedback and gesture customization functionality."
