MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006215 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'sieving assistive device for construction materials.'
Inventor(s) include Aishna Mahajan; Satish Kumar; and Anuraag Tsewang Namgail.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sieving assistive device for construction materials, comprises of a body 1 configured with multiple supporting legs 2 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a chamber 3 is attached on the body 1 enabling a user to store a certain type of construction material within the chamber 3, a touch interactive display panel 4 coupled on the body 1 to input details reading a quantity of the material that is to be sieved along with a size of material's particles that are required by the user, an electronic nozzle 5 installed underneath the chamber 3 for dispensing the user-specified amount of the material within a sieving unit 6 attached underneath the chamber 3, an imaging unit 9 installed within the body 1 to detect proper sieving of the materials, and an hollow telescopic rod configured with a suction unit to withdraw debris present on the sieving unit 6."
