The method comprises: a first terminal device determining first information, the first information being used for indicating a time domain resource that belongs to a resource pool in an SFN period, wherein the resource pool transmits a PSCCH and/or PSSCH on the basis of a first time unit, the first time unit comprises M1 continuous time slots, and M1 is a positive integer greater than 1. In the embodiments of the present application, for the resource pool that transmits the PSCCH and/or PSSCH on the basis of the first time unit, the first information can be used for indicating the time domain resource that belongs to the resource pool in the SFN period. Such a resource indication mode helps to improve the matching degree with transmission schemes for transmitting PSCCHs and/or PSSCHs with first time units as the granularity."
