MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621013362 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Feb. 6, for 'side ceiling forming device.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A side ceiling forming device, comprising a housing 101, a mixing chamber 102 for preparing a Plaster of Paris (POP) paste after receiving water and POP powder from a multi-sectioned compartment 105 via a respective conduit 103, a mixing blade 104 rotatably operatively coupled to a drive unit to thoroughly mix the POP powder and water to obtain a uniform paste of desired consistency, a telescopic gripper 106 equipped with an electronically controlled valve (ECV) nozzle 107, the nozzle 107 for dispensing the prepared POP paste, a V-shaped die 109 positioned within the housing 101 by means of a set of vertical links, the die comprises of two hinged pieces for forming adjustable V-shape to receive the prepared paste, the hinge joint enables variation in the V-angle in accordance with the desired size of side ceiling specified via a wirelessly connected user-interface inbuilt in a computing unit."
