MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411007029 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'shoes management system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Chamkaur Singh; Dr. Inderpreet Kaur; and Akanksha Chopra.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A shoes management system, comprises of plurality of bodies positioned on a ground surface within an enclosure, an elongated member configured with a first platform 1 and second platform 2 for accommodating a pair of shoes, a motorized hinge 3 for tilting the second platform 2 away from the first platform 1 and allowing a user to place the shoes, a double-rack gear arrangements for translating a plate 4 for gripping the shoes on the platform in a secured manner, a camera 5 for capturing multiple images of the enclosure, plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 6 for maneuvering and aligning the body at the detected empty space within the enclosure, and an electronic nozzle 7 attached with a chamber 8 for dispensing a fragrance liquid in the surroundings and eliminate the unpleasant odor."
