MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105637 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'sheet punching assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Mukesh Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sheet punching assistive device comprises a U-shaped body 101 having a first plate 102 and second plate 103 for acquiring a grip over the U-shaped body 101, free ends of the plates arranged with a circular member 104, to carve holes, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 for capturing and processing images of the sheet, a touch interactive display panel 106 for displaying the generated map, a holographic projection unit 107 for projecting a holographic image on the sheet, a hollow cylindrical member 108 integrated with each of the plates, to be engaged between the sheet, and multiple electromagnetic springs 109 integrated within U-shaped body 101 to extend and retract in repetitive manner for carving holes over the sheet via sharp-edged tip of the members."
