MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541132803 A) filed by Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry, India, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'sewage gas monitoring and alerting systemizing road safety.'

A wireless transmission io module (5)'sends processed readings to a remote monitoring hub (10). Local alarm buzzer (6) and visual indicator light (7) warn nearby workers during hazardous conditions. Data logging memory unit (9) stores readings for analysis while the power supply circuit (8) maintains continuous operation. The hub displays gas level trends through a display interface (11). A protective casing (12) ensures durability inside 15 corrosive sewage locations."
