MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079299 A) filed by Teijin Limited, Osaka, Japan, on Aug. 21, for 'separator for nonaqueous secondary battery, and nonaqueous secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Koganemaru, Ai; and Nishikawa, Satoshi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This separator for a nonaqueous secondary battery comprises: a porous layer containing inorganic particles and a binder resin; and an adhesive layer containing a phenyl group-containing acrylic resin and a butadiene-acrylonitrile resin, wherein the amount of butadiene unit in the total amount of acrylic unit, styrenic unit, butadiene unit, and acrylonitrile unit contained in both of these resins is 3 mole% to 50 mole%."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 24, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/002024.
