MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517032958 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 3, for 'separator for electrochemical device and electrochemical device comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Bang, Ji Hyun; Jeong, So Mi; Yoon, Yeo Ju; Kim, Seong Jun; and Kim, Yeong Ha.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a separator for an electrochemical device. The separator comprises; a porous polymer substrate; and a porous coating layer which is formed on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate and contains a first polymer binder and inorganic particles. The first polymer binder and the inorganic particles contain different ligands."
