MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517003319 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 15, for 'separator for electrochemical device and electrochemical device comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Ji Hyeon; Sung, Dong Wook; Ka, Kyung Ryun; Sung, In Hyouk; and Kim, Ji Yeon.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A separator for an electrochemical device comprises a porous polymer substrate and a porous coating layer formed on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate, the porous coating layer comprising inorganic particles and a polymer binder, wherein the inorganic particles have a polymer coating layer containing an amine group on the surface and at least a portion of the polymer binder is crosslinked with the polymer containing the amine group."
