MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547092842 A) filed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Tokyo, on Sept. 27, for 'sensing system, reception device, control circuit, storage medium, sensing method, and receiving method.'
Inventor(s) include Umeda, Shusaku; Taira, Akinori; and Ishioka, Kazuaki.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This sensing system (50) comprises: a transmission device (10) that has a plurality of transmission antenna elements (18), controls the generation of radar signals, the generation of a code, and the timing of the generation of a carrier signal for splitting a usable frequency band into a plurality of sub-bands and periodically switching sub-bands, multiplies a radar signal and the code for each of the plurality of transmission antenna elements (18), generates high-frequency signals with a sub-band bandwidth using the carrier signal and the radar signals multiplied by the code, and transmits the results from the plurality of transmission antenna elements (18); and a reception device (20) that has a plurality of reception antenna elements (22), receives the high-frequency signals transmitted from the transmission device (10) and reflected or scattered by an object being measured, generates transmission path information and identifies the position of the object being measured using the carrier signal, the radar signals, and the code, performs focus correction and generates an image of the object being measured, and determines a position of extraction of vibration information for the object being measured using the image and performs extraction from the transmission path information."
The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 03, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/013838.
