MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055931 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on June 10, for 'sensing service execution method and apparatus.'

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a sensing service execution method and apparatus, which can be applied to the technical field of communications. The method, which is executed by a network function, comprises: when there are a plurality of first sensing service requests for sensing the same sensing information of the same sensing object, executing a task corresponding to a first target sensing service request, wherein the first target sensing service request is one or more of the plurality of first sensing service requests. Therefore, a plurality of first sensing service requests can be combined, and one or more first target sensing service requests can be executed, such that the signaling overhead can be reduced."
