MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091538 A) filed by Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (PUBL), Stockholm, on Sept. 24, for 'sensing objects in an environment.'
Inventor(s) include Karapantelakis, Athanasios; Shokri Ghadikolaei, Hossein; Teslenko, Maxim; Alabbasi, Abdulrahman; Tao, Xin; and Vandikas, Konstantinos.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an aspect, there is provided a computer-implemented method performed by a network node in a communication network. The method comprises: forming (501) one or more clusters of wireless devices that are attached to the network node, wherein each cluster comprises two or more wireless devices; for a first cluster, transmitting (502), to a first wireless device in the first cluster, a request for objects in an environment in which the two or more wireless devices are located to be sensed; and receiving (503), from a wireless device, information relating to sensed objects."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/SE2023/050468.
