MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641042175 A) filed by Krishnasamy K; Ranga Narasimhan; and Shobana Krishnasamy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 2, for 'semi automatic, compact and portable auto-sensing rotary brush dishwasher.'
Inventor(s) include Shobana Krishnasamy; Krishnasamy K; and Ranga Narasimhan.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A compact and portable semi-automatic rotary brush dishwasher (10) comprising at least one uniquely designed helical brush assembly (20, 22) mounted on a hollow metallic shaft (21, 23) with internal fluid passages for radial fountain discharge. The apparatus incorporates an intrinsic capacitive sensing 5 arrangement integrated into the mechanical drive and support structure, establishing a conductive path from the brush to a non-contact sensor (46). This system automatically energizes the drive motors (42, 44) and a primary water delivery solenoid (79) upon detection of a user's touch or proximity to the brush, enabling intuitive, hands-on cleaning. The dishwasher further includes an 10 integrated soap dispensing system (65) and a secondary quick-rinse spray nozzle (76), both managed by infrared proximity sensors for high-efficiency, brushless operation. The modular architecture supports a specialized hemispherical brush tip for cleaning contoured utensil bottoms and deep internal corners."
