MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007369 A) filed by Bapatla Surendra Babu, Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, on Jan. 25, for 'self-powered reconfigurable intelligent surface with acousto-capillary liquid gratings and analog feedback.'

Inventor(s) include Bapatla Surendra Babu.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a "Self-Optimizing 5G Glass." To solve the problem of signal attenuation in buildings without active power, the system functions as a transparent Liquid Metal Hologram. Channels (102) of EGaIn within a Glass Substrate (100) are vibrated by Ultrasound Transducers (112) to create physical Ripples (104) that act as a Diffraction Grating for 5G signals. The innovation is the Direct-Drive Feedback: transparent Rectennas (110) harvest the signal energy and use it to power the vibration. The system utilizes a "Closed-Loop Acousto-Capillary Coupling" mechanism where reflection efficiency modulates with signal strength."
