Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Self-Osteotome Dental Implant And Orthopedic Fastener' Filed by Simple Implants Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048226 A) filed by Simple Implants Ltd., Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 19, for 'self-osteotome dental implant and orthopedic fastener.'

Inventor(s) include Teperovich, Ehud; and Vachtenberg, Oz.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-osteotome dental implant includes an implant body having a coronal threaded region; and an apical region having a plurality of edgeless flutes. The implant is inserted into a bone in a low speed rotation of a dental implant and a simultaneous insertion of the implant into the bone."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/061606.
