MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511133725 A) filed by Gna University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'self-maintaining notice board system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-maintaining notice board system is comprising, a rectangular transparent board 101 is mounted on a vertically expandable rod 102 to adjust its height, the board 101 surface is divided into multiple segments, each dedicated to specific notice categories and embedded with LEDs 103 to highlight priority or urgency, a built-in mini printer 108 to print notices, a built-in camera 111 detects debris accumulation, an integrated microphone 116 and speaker 117 enable audio interactions, an authentication module 104 features a biometric sensor locking door assembly 104b allowing only authorized personnel, a notice handling module 105 uses a clamp 105a on a horizontal slider 105b with a hydraulic bar 105c and motorized ball-and-socket joint 105d, a notice attachment and retrieval module 106 employs pins 106b, electromagnetic spring 106c, and clamp 106d to manage notices safely, an automated cleaning module 109 and dust cleaning module 112 maintain the board's cleanliness."
