Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Segregated Steam System And Process In A Hydrogen Production Facility' Filed by Air Products And Chemicals, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202044030829 A) filed by Air Products And Chemicals, Inc., Allentown, U.S.A., on July 20, 2020, for 'segregated steam system and process in a hydrogen production facility.'

Inventor(s) include Xiang-Dong Peng.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A segregated steam system and process in a hydrogen production facility wherein boiler feed water is heated by indirect heat exchange with a reformate, the heated boiler feed water is used to heat water condensate formed from the reformate, the heated water condensate is passed to a first steam drum for producing steam for a reformer feed gas 10 mixture, and a second portion of the heated boiler feed water is passed to a second steam drum for producing steam for export."
