MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020083 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'seedbed shaping and tilling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A seedbed shaping and tilling device, comprising a frame 1 having a first 2 and second portion 3, maneuvered over crop field by means of crawling wheel 5, a vertical rectangular platform 4 for allowing a user to manually maneuver frame 1, a touch enabled screen 6 accessed by user for feeding width of a seedbed, a roller 7 assembled with plurality of L-shape extendable links 8 configured in between frame 1 and a pair of slider crank arrangement 9 to position roller 7 over ground surface, a camera 10 to detect presence of weed, a heating unit to boil water stored within a chamber 11, an electronic nozzle 12 configured on chamber 11 for dispensing boiling water on weed/worm for elimination, a scotch yoke arrangement 13 interlinked between each ends of roller 7 and slider crank arrangement 9 for rotating roller 7 to dig soil for making seed bed."
