MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024913 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'secured two-wheeler accommodation device.'
Inventor(s) include Ranjan Walia.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured two-wheeler accommodation device, comprising a rectangular shaped frame 1 affixed with rear portion of a four wheeler, a microphone 2 installed over the frame 1 to receive voice command of the user regrading accommodation of a two-wheeler, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed over the frame 1 to determine length of the two-wheeler, a pair of motorized plates 4 installed with lateral sides of the frame 1 to deploy a pre-defined angle in view of providing appropriate space for accommodating the two-wheeler, a pair of extendable curved links 5 installed with the frame 1 to deploy the links 5 in a manner to pass in between spokes of the two-wheeler and electromagnetic lock 6 is installed over end of the links 5 to attach the links 5 with each other in view of gripping wheels of the two-wheeler via the links 5."
