MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019741 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'secured theft prevention device for two-wheeler.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a secured theft prevention device for two-wheeler, comprising a body 1 having a first and second portion developed to be positioned by user over accelerator and along with front brake lever of a two-wheeler, a motorized hinge joint 2 installed between first and second portion for opening to position accelerator and brake level between a primary and secondary cavity 3, 4 crafted within body 1, a touch sensor installed portions for detecting successful closing of body 1, an ultrasonic sensor installed inside secondary cavity 4 for detecting presence of lever, and a fingerprint sensor 5 installed on body 1 for enabling user to input finger impression to register request regarding opening of body 1."
