MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017494 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 11, 2024, for 'secured refrigerator accommodation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured refrigerator accommodation device, comprising a frame 1 positioned on a ground surface, a supporting plate 2 attached with each corner for supporting corners of a refrigerator accommodated on frame 1, a set of primary electromagnets integrated on each of plates 2 and a set of secondary magnets are arranged underneath refrigerator for securing accommodated refrigerator, plurality of wheels 3 arranged underneath frame 1 for maintaining an optimum height in between surface and frame 1 along with facilitating a user to move frame 1 on surface, a microphone 4 accessed by user to feed voice command for uplifting refrigerator and based on which primary electromagnets get energized to develop similarly charged pole as that of secondary magnets to slightly uplift refrigerator from frame 1 in a stable manner for facilitating user to drag or uplift levitated refrigerator."
