MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010042 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'secured power lines supporting device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured power lines supporting device, comprising a V-shaped frame 1 installed by user at apex of electric pole 2, an ultrasonic sensor is integrated with frame 1 for monitoring dimension of pole 2, a motorized clamping unit 3 integrated on frame 1 for acquiring a grip over pole 2 to affix frame 1 on pole 2, multiple curved rods 4 are integrated on frame 1 by means of motorized hinge joint 5 for supporting power lines passing over pole 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 to determine dimensions of insulator integrated on power lines, a motorized iris lid 7 for acquiring hold on insulator to support power lines, a current detection sensor for monitoring leakage of current on pole 2 and a motorized roller 9 coiled with wire 10 is integrated on frame 1 for establishing an earthing to transfer leaked current from pole 2 onto surface."
