MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006626 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, for 'secured plywood holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Aishna Mahajan; Satish Kumar; Shivansh; and Shrestha Pratap Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured plywood holding device, comprising a curved shaped frame 1 configured with a handle 2 for securing by a user, a rectangular plate 3 arranged with multiple iris unit 5 configured with the frame 1 to open for inserting user's fingers, a primary plate 6 installed on the frame 1 attached with a motorized rack and pinion arrangement 7 configured with a second plate 14 to secure the plywood, a flap 8 configured with a cushion padding 9 installed on the frame 1 providing comfort to user's shoulder portion, a C-shaped clamping unit 10 mounted on the frame 1 securing wrist portion, an imaging unit 11 mounted on the frame 1 determining user's posture, a speaker 12 mounted on the frame 1 for notifying incorrect body posture and multiple LEDs 13 installed on frame 1 providing illumination around the user."
