MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073953 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'secured piggy back carriage device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured piggy back carriage device comprising of a wearable component 1 arranged with plurality of motorized rollers 2 to rotate for tightening/loosening a strap, a platform 3 arranged at back portion of the component 1 accessed by a toddler to get accommodated on the component 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 is installed on the component 1 for capturing and processing images of the component 1, a pair of curved handles 5 arranged on shoulder portion of the component 1 to acquire support, a pair of looped belts 6 are arranged at back portion of the component 1 with multiple motorized hinges 7 to tilt portions of the belts 6, a weather detection module 8 installed on component 1 for monitoring real time weather conditions, a telescopically operated link 9 integrated on top portion of component 1 to extend/retract for positioning an extendable canopy over the component 1."
