MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010724 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'secured object holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured object holding device, comprising V-shaped frame 1 having a first and second plate 2, 3 that are interconnected via a motorized hinge joint 4, a pair of circular rings 5 enabling a user to grip frame 1 by inserting fingers into rings 5, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 determines presence and thickness of an object, and synchronously microcontroller directs joint 4 for opening and closing plates 2, 3 to allow user to place object between plates 2, 3, push button 7 enabling user to provide an input command to connect frame 1 with a string for actuating a motorized iris lid 8 to open in accordance to dimension of string as detected by a laser sensor for inserting free-end, a touch sensor detecting placement of object between plates 2, 3 for energizing electromagnetic blocks 9 of magnetizing plates 2, 3 for securing object."
