MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079829 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'secured fire extinguishing device.'
Inventor(s) include Richa Mehta; Sajjan Singh; and Vinod Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured fire extinguishing device, comprising a wearable body 1 developed to be equipped by a user while entering in an enclosure caught with fire, multiple straps 2 are attached with body 1 in order to allow user to secure body 1 on user's body 1, multiple touch sensor arranged within the body 1 for detecting equipping of body 1 by user, a pair of robotic links 3 for placing a helmet attached with links 3 on head portion of user, an imaging unit 4 to determines presence of fire in vicinity to the body 1, multiple primary electronic nozzle 5 connected with a first reservoir 6 mapped on body 1 for dispensing an extinguishing solution in vicinity to user and a skin sensor for detecting blood flow of user multiple tertiary electronic nozzles 8 connected with a water reservoir 9 for dispensing water inside multiple patches."
