MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026059 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'secured carry bag carriage device.'

Inventor(s) include Seema Rani.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured carry bag carriage device comprises of a curved-shaped body 1 developed to be positioned underneath front portion of a seat of a two-wheeler vehicle, a microphone 2 is positioned on said body 1 that is accessed by a user to give voice commands for securing the body 1 with the seat, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 arranged on the body 1 for detecting exact location of the front portion of the seat, a V-shaped member arranged with bottom end of the body 1 having first as well as second rods connected with each other via a primary electromagnet to extend for positioning a C-shaped expandable motorized clamp 4 in contact with the front portion, an extendable plate arranged with the body 1 to extend via a drawer arrangement to provide support to the carry bag thus preventing tearing of the carry bag."
