MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020071 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'secured bicycle locking system.'
Inventor(s) include Rajesh Pandey; Vinod Kr. Rathi; Mridul; and R. P. Agarwal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured bicycle locking system, comprising a telescopically operated frame 1 developed to be installed on primary side of a chain stay installed on a bicycle, a mechanical clamp 11 is arranged on frame 1 to secure clamp on primary side, a microphone 4 to input voice commands regarding locking and unlocking of bicycle, a motorized iris aperture 5 on a ground surface by passing through a rear wheel of bicycle, an ultrasonic sensor installed on chain stay for detecting distance between aperture 5 and surface, a telescopically operated pin for extending towards aperture 5, an imaging unit 6 to determine authentication of user, an angle sensor for detecting angle of bicycle, a pair of inverted L-shaped telescopic poles 7 to provide stability to bicycle, an audio sensor detecting an invalid noise from chain and sprocket assembly, an electronic nozzle 8 for dispensing oil on assembly to lubricate assembly."
