MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020040 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'secured automated painting device.'
Inventor(s) include R. K. Jain; Dhruv Joshi; V. K. Tyagi; and Shamshad Hussain.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secured automated painting device comprising a body configured with multiple motorized omni-directional wheels 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 is mounted on body input commands regarding an object along with dimension of object that is to be painted and colour to be painted, an artificial intelligence image capturing unit 3 installed on body detects distance of object with body, a pair of telescopic rods configured with a metallic sheet 4 mounted on body in a parallel orientation via a link-gear arrangement 5 form a boundary over object, and an electronic jet nozzle 6 configured with a chamber 7 installed on body sprinkles user-input colour over object."
