MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019755 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'secure personal belonging storage device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Meenakshi Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secure personal belonging storage device, comprising a platform 1 having two plates 2 interconnected via a motorized hinge 3 and which are held by a user, a cushioned member provides comfort to a user while holding platform 1, a fingerprint scanner 8 accessed by user for authentication and only after successful authentication an electromagnetic lock 4 arranged on plates 2 gets opened and hinge 3 provides movement to plates 2 that allows user to place personal belongings, a sensing module authenticate banknote, a vibration unit 5 generates vibrations to notify user if banknotes are found to be un-authentic banknote, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 installed on platform 1 for determines authenticity of any other person and only after unsuccessful authentication of that person a notification is sent to a computing unit of the user."
