MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097495 A) filed by Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, Fujian, China, on Oct. 9, for 'secondary battery and electronic device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a secondary battery and an electronic device, The secondary battery comprises a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet and a separator. A first organic coating is provided on the surface, facing the positive electrode sheet, of the separator, and a second organic coating is provided on the surface, facing the negative electrode sheet, of the separator, wherein the first organic coating comprises a polymer, the melting point of the polymer being 60 C to 100 C. The secondary battery provided in the present application satisfies the characteristics, and can widen a hot box window of the secondary battery on the basis of not influencing the cycling performance of the secondary battery, such that the safety performance thereof is improved."
