MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617017999 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 18, for 'secondary battery and battery module including same.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Byoung Kook.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a secondary battery and a battery module including same and, more specifically, to a secondary battery and a battery module including same, wherein internal explosive power of the secondary battery can be minimized by rapidly discharging internal heat and internal gas pressure by performing venting for internal gas discharge according to a normal design value at room temperature and implementing, under a high temperature condition, faster venting than the prior art."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/012456.
