MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617000913 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 5, for 'secondary battery.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Sang Hun; Choi, Ji Eun; Lee, Jae Ho; Lee, Ji Sun; and Yu, Hyung Kyun.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present document may comprise: an electrode assembly; a support frame surrounding a portion of the electrode assembly; a sheet-type exterior material which surrounds the rest of the electrode assembly to form an accommodation space for accommodating the electrode assembly, together with the support frame, and is coupled to the support frame such that the accommodation space is partitioned from the outside of the support frame; and electrode terminals electrically connected to electrode tabs of the electrode assembly and arranged to be in the sheet-type exterior material and exposed outside the sheet-type exterior material."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/012436.
