MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514029869 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Shizuoka, Japan, on March 28, for 'seat belt buckle fixing structure for vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Kazuya Taniguchi; and Yudai Mineshima.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a seat belt buckle fixing structure for a vehicle capable of ensuring an efficient arrangement and perf ormance of seat belt buckles. A hinge bracket 118 has a brack et lower end section 122 fixed to a floor panel 120 and a brac ket vertical wall section 124 extending upward from the bracke 10 t lower end section 122. A buckle fixing structure 100 also i ncludes a first anchor plate 132 joined to a second seating po sition E2 side of the bracket vertical wall section 124, a fir st webbing 136 connecting the first anchor plate 132 and a fir st buckle 112, a second anchor plate 134 joined to the bracket 15 lower end section 122, and a second webbing 138 connecting th e second anchor plate 134 and a second buckle 114. The hinge bracket 118 has a curved section 154 formed by curving a front edge of the bracket vertical wall section 124 towards the fir st seating position E1."
