MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117066 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'sealing washer manufacturing and installation device for flange of motor.'

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sealing washer manufacturing and installation device for flange of motor comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface with multiple suction cups 102 to secure it to the surface, a panel 103 to input commands for manufacturing and installing, a sealing washer on a flange of a motor, an imaging unit 104 detects dimension of the flange, a speaker 105 on the platform 101 generates audible instructions, a sheet of the evaluated dimension from a multi-sectioned chamber 106 attached to the platform 101, multiple suction units 107 to hold sheet in place, a first robotic arm 108 with a motorized cutter 109, mounted on a motorized slider 113 cuts sheet precisely, a second robotic arm 110 with a punching unit 111 punches equidistant holes, and grippers 112 places the washer over the flange and one gripper cleans flange using a fabric from an attached compartment 114."
