MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521133226 A) filed by Powerarch Technologies Ip Private Limited, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Dec. 29, 2025, for 'sealed concrete injection and moisture-retention curing system for flexible polymer tubular arches.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Chetan Tryambakrao Pawar.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An assembly and method for filling and curing self-compacting concrete inside a flexible tubular stay-in-place tubular arch formwork (53) forming arch ribs of bridges and similar structures are disclosed. A concrete-injection port opening (201) is provided on the extrados of the formwork at or near the crown region to ensure symmetrical filling and to avoid void formation inside the conduit. A short tubular riser spout (56) made of the same polymeric material is separately fixed over the port opening (201) by screw fasteners (60). After the arch formwork is completely filled with self-compacting concrete through the riser spout (56), a detachable closure cap plate (57) having foam sheet (210) pasted beneath inner surface is immediately fixed over the open top of the riser spout by a plurality of screws (59), thereby forming a moisture-retentive enclosure that prevents the escape of water and air during the entire curing period and enables the concrete to develop full design strength without any external wetting or curing compound."
