MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073162 A) filed by Rakuten Symphony, Inc., Tokyo, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'scheduling radio resources for a carrier group by a distributed unit.'

Further, the apparatus (114) is configured to determine effective Resource Blocks (RBs) to be scheduled. The determination of the effective RBs to be scheduled is based on the identified configured capacity. Furthermore, the apparatus (114) is configured to schedule a transmission of data packets via the one or more carriers based on the determined effective RBs."
