According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a washing machine (100) and a method (200) for cleaning agricultural produce. The washing machine (100) includes a housing (102) having an internal space functioning as a washing chamber, a motor (104) mounted within the housing (102), a shaft (106) driven by the motor (104), and a roller (108) fixed to the shaft (106). The roller (108) is provided with a plurality of blunt spikes (110) configured to agitate the agricultural produce during rotation. A cylindrical protective cage (112) encloses the roller (108) and prevents user access to the rotating components, while a lid (114) allows loading and unloading of the produce. The machine (100) is compact, portable, and operable using standard household electrical power."
